Collagen Enhancements

Collagen injections are safe, effective, time tested, non surgical wrinkle treatment that produce immediate results.  However, collagen injections are not for everyone. A small percentage of patients can be allergic to the collagen. One of the alternatives is Restylane.

The ten areas most frequently treated with collagen/restylane are: frown lines, between the eyes, acne scars, cheek depressions, smoker's lines around the mouth, lines at either end of the mouth, worry lines in the forehead, crow's feet at the eyes, deep smile lines, dimples and facial scars.

Following collagen/restylane injections normal activities can be resumed immediately. Discomfort is minimal. The treatment site may have a little swelling, which may last a few hours. There may be some bruising which can be covered with make up. Allergic reactions are rare, but may consist of prolonged redness, itching /or firmness at the injection site. Generally, collagen/restylane treatment is the best alternative to surgery.
